They had no intention of keeping but cared for both girls for a month awaiting an owner to reclaim them but that never happened. They knew nothing about Rescue so contacted an animal cruelty organization and Mary began her quest to find a Rescue to help these dogs. She began contacting Fox Terrier Rescue Groups but with no assistance being offered or given. After contacting WFTRM, we agreed to help LuLu and Bindi and with the assistance, fostering and compassion of our colleagues with Airedale Rescue in Little Rock, Arkansas - these girls are now going to get a chance at living a wonderful life. Lulu and Bindi were both taken to the vet in Little Rock and were given a full workup & exam, vaccinations, tested for HW (both are Negative), treated for intestinal parasites, spayed and micro chipped along with a beauty spa treatment! Bindi is in excellent health and estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old. Bindi is the perfect size and a nice combination of energy, intelligence and tender love. She is agile and fast - able to leap tall chairs in a single bound and likes to take a quick spin in the boundaries of her yard- keeping watch for any new predators. Bindi is smart, savvy and sensitive - she learns quickly and nothing pleases her more than to be close to her people. She will follow from room to room and if she can - will share your lap or side. She is not pushy or needy but likes to share the love. Bindi frequently gazes sensitively at her humans' faces in order to gather data for which she responds appropriately. We call it "love eyes" as it is to show she is there and listening. She is completely trustworthy in the house and has free run of it- day and night. She prefers to sleep with her humans and likes to share the pillow during bedtime reading. Bindi is a good walker and loves to meet and greet people and children. She frequently walks to school with Dad and daughter and is allowed to meet all the children along the way and at school. She wiggles with pleasure as she gets touched and stroked by all the kids. This little girl is a real keeper and has made her way into the hearts of anyone she meets. She would do best with a family who has time to spend with her and children are good in her book. She has no bad habits and has a happy, pleasing personality. What else could you ask for in a companion for life?
