Jarah, which in Hebrew means giver of sweetness and honey, goes by Frankie in his volunteer home. Found in a field in the condition you see in the last 2 pics. He is guesstimated at 13+ years old. An alleged owner came forward after a month claiming that he belonged to them. He wasn't going back to anyone who allowed him to get in the condition he was found in, but unfortunately without proof of ownership which thay can't provide we also can't pursue criminal neglect charges. He is doing wonderfully now, has gained several pounds and is said to be the 'perfect' dog. No small kids as he is just too old to tolerate rough handling and he is now accustomed to a fenced yard but never strays far from his 'Mom' so this is not a requirement.
